Very nice little Mexican restaurant!. Awesome little hole in the wall. Great food. Ordered empanadas, a taco, and the enchilada dinner with chile verde. Food was prepared quickly and empanadas can out super hot and crispy. The carnitas on the taco was excellent, very well seasoned. And the verde sauce was really good too. Everything was very fresh and also inexpensive. Everything that I ordered came to about $10. Will totally be revisiting Chicano’s in the near future.

Decent Mexican. I went to Chicanos twice and at first it was great and the second trip wasnt as good. I was trying different things on the menu and figuring out what I prefer. They have good quesadillas, fajitas, rice, beans, and excellent chicken (in the fajitas). Id pass on that clear soup dish if you dont like lime to overpower your broth. I wasnt a fan of the burritos (green sauce and pork) or the enchiladas (with red and chicken) the red sauce is humdrum and the green is repulsive (there is another large infusion of lime in green sauce). I understand that lime plays a part in the cuisine but its not for me. The chipotle sauce they serve with the chips is spicy hot. They have good prices and decent Mexican food. Once I know what my favorites are Ill be able to order no problem. Service is good and the place is small. Food = 2.5/5 (good)Price = 2.5/5 (good)Service = 2.5/5 (good)Atmosphere = 2/5 (good)Overall = 2.5 out of 5 stars
Great, authentic Mexican dishes – very reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere. Eat here regularly. Highly recommended!

Affordable and addicting!!. I have been eating at chicanos for around 3 years now and i cant get enough! I usially eat there around 2 times a week. The new location on Cedar ave is much better than the older location and the food is exactly the same. the chips and dip they serve you when you sit down taste so good! tacos are only a dollar and they have so much flavor! Chicanos is always very fresh and quick and it dosent make you feel like crap after you eat it. Top off your order with a strawberry milkshake to cool down from the hot sauce!! LOVE CHICANOS!!!!!!

The help is great, place is clean, and there is parking!!!
