Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. Now it’s not worth eating at.. I’ve always liked the shrimp and scallop in hot sauce at China Palace. The seafood was always fresh, large, and tasty. Now they use small scallops that have little flavor, and shrimp that seem precooked and frozen. I asked for it spicy, and maybe they threw a chili flake or two in while cooking.What happened, China Palace? You used to be the best Chinese restaurant in Pgh. Now you’re as bad as Sichuan Gourmet in Squirrel Hill. I wonder if it’s a different owner. I’m never going back.
Great food
Awful. One of the worst things I’ve ever tried to eat. The Soy Protein in the Curry Supreme tasted like plastic, the curry sauce was good. Overall couldn’t eat it, the soy was that bad.
Ordered Mongolian Beef, what we received was mongolian white onion. We also ordered it at #4 spicy, however it was much more spicy than that. This was a takeout so we couldn’t take it back. Will not try this restaurant again!
Don’t order from here! Spend your money elsewhere. The service is very very poor – from the phone representative to the delivery driver that utilizes foul and inappropriate language. They also over charged our order by $13.62, of which they refused to correct. They failed to respond to the follow up call by my colleague, again using inappropriate language. The food delivered was incorrect – which again they failed to rectify. Will NEVER order or suggest to anyone to order from there again. Save your money and spend it somewhere that provides better service and quality
