One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh! My aunt and I used to go every Sunday for dinner after a long day of shopping in shady side. Everything is always delicious! Always had a pleasant experience and love that it is a family owned restaurant!
One of my favorite spots in the city… Food is simply amazing! I’ve never had a bad experience or meal at this cute, family owned establishment. I used to make reservations but have learned it doesn’t really make a difference, it’s pretty much first come first serve which can be frustrating, but I normally haven’t had to wait any longer than 20-30 minutes at most and know this going into it. The food and friendly atmosphere makes it worth it every time :)24 Nov, 2014Great atmosphere with amazing, fresh food. Gluten friendly with quinoa linguine pasta option. Will be going back soon!
Excellent dinner. Stopped in on a Friday night, waited for 10 minutes and were seated. outstanding meal and excellent service. I highly recommend this place. much improvement over the years. can’t wait to go back. ask for the waiter Vito. Good dude knows his stuff
Amazing food! The service was great. Highly suggest the carne special. I will definitely be back.
Some of the best Italian in the city- from what I remember. We went twice and both experiences were very good. Never too loud for us, but it depends on when you go. I guess it is like a cave– but space is at a premium on Walnut Street. I thought the atmosphere was good. Service was excellent. Of course, it has been several years, so I’m not sure how it is now.
Seating is terrible and way too close. Very loud and very cramped. Food is good but the atmosphere is not. You cannot even hear your partner across the table because of the noise factor. The tables are so squished together you can barely get to your seat without knocking other peoples plates on the floor. I don’t care how good the food is the atmosphere is important as well.
Excellent Food!. My gf and I went for dinner. I had the polenta with greens and beans. They were very accommodating and had the greens prepared without chicken stock (vegetarian). My gf had the pumpkin ravioli and loved it! Will definitely come back!
