Unique food at very reasonable prices. I had a good dinner special and very good Peruvian coffee. I also enjoyed perusing the very reasonably priced Peruvian crafts.27 Mar, 2015Peruvian Coffee. Very good medium roast coffee
Loved the pumpkin soup with blue cheese and the empanadas were flavorful. Great little place with no pretentiousness
Not kid friendly… No kids sized cups and the tables are so close together you can barely fit the high chair. Too much $ for the portions. We were there for 40 mins and never got a refill. It’s supposed to be Peruvian but everything is on French bread? Salad and lemonade were good tho.
I love this restaurant so much! Their salads are always fresh and have one of he best dressings I’ve ever tasted. Also their empanadas are delicious especially the pumpkin black bean! Plus while you’re waiting for your food you can look at all the beautifully handcrafted items from Peru!
Really Great Food & Service. Spinach and Feta empanadas were such a treat – everyone was friendly and quick – food was hot and the store features a lot of interesting gift ideas. A nice little retreat from Walnut Street… highly recommend.
Oh, yes. It is good food. Shadyside. Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. La Feria was a happy discovery. We’ve eaten there several times and loved every interesting bite. I found the Peruvian gift items for sale to be cleverly selected. I bought a beautiful set of glass coasters. The restaurant is in a charming Pittsburgh neighborhood.
Get the ropa vieja sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. They also have just added tortilla’s to the menu. I had one with bacon, and although priced maybe a buck or two higher than an egg and potato dish should be, tasted well made. If you’re looking for well prepared, affordable (for Walnut Street) options, this is the place.
