We visited the Mad Mex at Shadyside and the ambience was pretty great and service as well was pretty good..We had the burrito and it was really nice, the filling wasn’t too spicy. We split it amongst two of us and so it was pretty filling as well..We went on a weekend and had to wait for some period of time before being seated …The menu is slightly on the more expensive side as well..
Mad Mex is my favorite place to go to in Shadyside for tequila and tacos. Whenever we go for happy hour we get the best bang for our buck! The margaritas are huge !!! You can’t be there drink specials or the taste of the food.
