Old beer. Be warned – they sell old beer. Mine was almost 18 months after the drink by date. I’d never looked at that before, but when your beer is skunked and it says 01/2013 and it’s the end of 2014, that’s something to worry about
This place should realize that a great deal of their revenue cones after restaurants close… They purport to be open until 2 am but Shadyside residents brave the cold to patronize then only to discover that they close at whatever time they want on a day to day basis. Rounding the corner to discover this is disappointing at best. Corner stores are a part of our neighborhood. If they want loyalty they need to serve up consistency. That means not closing in a whim. Or posting hours that they don’t keep. I will be going to beer distributors outside of this neighborhood of that’s what it takes from now on. Pitts closing it whenever Pitt feels like it.

I have never had the food, nore to I ever plan to. That being said, this is one of the greatest things to spring up in the Shadyside area in a long time. Why? You can buy really good beer in sixpacks for an affordable price.
