Great friendly service and my order was done fast, which was amazing since I was a walk-in. Lots of toppings piled high but I wish there was more cheese. They did have small bottles of vanilla Coke, which is a rare find these days.
Well, they got our pizza wrong and we found out when we got home. We live only a mile away but it’s 7 degrees outside. They said we could come back to pick up a new pizza. I would have gone back of they had delivered one here considering it was their mistake. Oh well, plenty of good pizza places in Shadyside!
Nasty Pizza. Thick, flavorless crust, sauce was too sweet and thinly spread… basically just a big pile of dough. Five Cheese my ass… a whole bunch of goopy ricotta. Don’t waste your money on this pizza – wouldn’t order here again if it were the last pizza place on the planet! Oh, worst part…. we ordered a large – anyone want our leftovers? 😕
Mostly Good Pizza. Good: 1. The pizzas are loaded.2. The quality of cheese, sauce and crust are great3. Fairly priced and convenient for pickup.4. Done on time for pickup.Bad:1. Customer service is non-existent. These employees at highland are &*&$^@#%holes.2. Delivery can take up to an hour even though you live around the corner – so pick up and it will be piping hot in 15 min! 3. Pepperoni was really bad. They need a new pepperoni vendor.
Where’s the rest of my soup?. I ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque, and after I left I noticed the bowl was only 4/5th’s full. I feel the bowl should have been filled to the top. I will not return to this place for future business
Standard Pgh pizzaria. My go-to place for a basic pizza over the last 10 years. Don’t expect superlatives here, just reasonable pizza, fairly priced and (usually) delivered in a timely fashion. Salads are good and loaded with toppings but a bit pricey. Subs are just OK.
Poor Customer Service. I bought a $20 groupon (for $10) and gave it to my girlfriend to use because she loves pizza. She bought $27 worth of pizza and presented the $20 groupon and was told that they were charging her $7 for the meal. She happened to notice a week later that her credit card was charged for the full $27 – yes I know she should have paid better attention to the original receipt.. She called the place multiple times and she was told that they wouldnt credit the $20 – we had to use the groupon again. Wtf.The pizza was decent, but we didnt want to drive all the way to shadyside to use it again. Thankfully groupon credited me $10 for the original purchase, but we were still out $10. I could care less about the money and I can understand screwing up once. But the fact that they refused to fix the situation is bad service.
