Mother’s Day Warning. Considering Mother’s Day is around the corner I thought it appropriate to warn you about the Mother’s Day brunch at Sunnyledge. I went with my boyfriend and his mother, anticipating a really good meal, everyone had told us it would be great. It was not.The service was rude, the place was totally disorganized, and we felt like we were in the way. After we ordered our main entrees, we went to the buffet. The grapeleaves were obviously not made in house and had come from a can, totally unacceptable to my Syrian boyfriend and his mother, the meat was dry and cold, the shrimp was sub-par. The food and service was totally not worth it for the cost of the meal (around $180 for three of us with tip),I would not recommend visiting here ever, especially on a busy holiday such as Mother’s Day.
Excellent food. One of the best kept secrets of Pittsburgh. The restaurant should have many more people eating there. But if that happens then I will have to wait to get a table there. Crab cakes are some of the best you will find anywhere in the country. Their filet of beef is tender and done to prefection.
