The sushi here is reasonably priced and of good quality. Informal atmosphere, and friendly staff. Only flaw is that there is no drink menu. (they have alcohol but no list of bottles, etc)
Terrible delivery/takeout. Placed a small order that took an hour and a half to arrive, despite living less than two miles from the restaurant. Food was cold, deliverer was really rude, half my order was wrong. Horrible service – avoid, avoid, avoid.
Came here as a last resort and was quite surprised. We ate outside because we had my dog with us and the staff was very hospitable- they even brought a little water bowl for my dog! The lunch prices were very reasonable and the food wasn’t too bad!
Good food, good price. I don’t usually eat in the restaurant – I get take out or delivery. However, I get the same meal every time because it’s the best I’ve had. I order salmon sushi (as good as anyone else’s), but more importantly I get a side salad with ginger dressing and miso soup. I don’t know why, but the two are hands down the best tasting versions of the dishes I have ever had – and I’ve eaten at some high-end Asian restaurants. The fried ice-cream is also delicious, particularly if you like things sweet and doughy, though don’t expect to have a full scoop of ice cream waiting in the middle (it just got fried, after all). Even more importantly, it’s very affordable and reasonable for what you get. Even the bigger, main dishes – which seem a bit pricey – include two sides and leave me with enough for lunch/leftovers the next day. I would definitely recommend this place.
Mushy tuna sushi. I’ve eaten here plenty of times, and have always been underwhelmed. Their sushi has always been fairly mediocre. On a recent visit, I was served tuna sushi which was nearly inedible. It was mushy, spongy, flavorless, clearly not high-quality, and probably not fresh. Service was very slow, a waitress was incredibly rude, and the restroom was gross (it has been this way for years). I don’t know how restaurants can get away with having horrible restrooms, but it seems a particular problem in Pittsburgh. In any event, I also had an apparent case of food poisoning the evening after my lunch at Sushi Too. I could be wrong about the cause, but I blame the horrible Tuna. For all these reasons, I will not go back.
Very bad service. Served the wrong food, and the waitress was surpised that we wanted her to take it away, and bring us what we ordered. No apology either.
Great quality and affordable. This is hands down my favorite sushi in Pittsburgh the staffs awesome and everything is fresh also the miso soup is a must have also the omg e roll is something that you’d make if god was on your guest list. Can’t stress the quality and prices. A great find and great place
