Great Food. Good Variety. Great AtmosphereAfter a week on Times Square, my fianc and I stumbled across this place by accident. We were hungry and argumentative and just needed to get out of the car. Best impulsive decision ever. This was our favorite restaurant on our trip. They had dry rubbed scallops served with creamed cabbage as a special appetizer. It was to die for. Best scallops I’ve ever eaten. Their French onion soup was as I like it – served in a crock with cheese melted over the entirety of the piece of bread. No croutons and shredded cheese here! They broiled the cheese long enough that there were spots of black deliciousness. The side salads were small, but at this point both of us were already positive we wouldn’t eat out meals. I’m not upset at the portions sizes at all. When my Alfredo came I ate a totality of two noodles. They are wider than normal and have a fantastic texture. Not cooked to much or too little. While the Alfredo sauce wasn’t anything special, it wasn’t bad, just normal Alfredo sauce. It won’t scare off the kids with crazy flavors or anything. My fianc got the cheese and spinach ravioli. Once again the texture was perfect! And the red sauce was delicious! I assume they make it themselves.Long story wrapped up it was all good. Everyone seemed to know everyone and the owner greeted us, took us to our table, and walked around making sure everyone was enjoying their night. Were discussing driving back with my parents one weekend even though it’s an hour and a half away. The only drawback was that it took a while to get our appetizer and soup, but I was really hungry, so I blame time dilation.

A night in Italy. Please try this place! Authentic Italian food at a reasonable price. We felt like we’d been whisked away to Italy for the evening! Definitely try their caeser salad prepared tableside; it’s amazing! I’m pretty sure the desserts aren’t homemade, but the rest of the food most definitely is! 4 great experiences in this restaurant can’t be wrong!
