Rustic place in the heart of East Passyunk that serves traditional Mexican along with brunch that’s available all day. The chicken nachos were delicious with goodies on every chip. The chicken was shredded & just the right amount of cheese. We had the Mahi Mahi & shrimp burritos which were good though the shrimp was extremely spicy.
Decent spot for margarita and tacos. The menu isn’t extensive, but it gets the job done. The best part (and the majority of the reason I go here) is because they have a great outdoor seating area.

Best Margaritas. Can’t beat happy hour at the Cantina… half price (delicious!) margaritas, and free chips and salsa. The guacamole is amazing, too.
I had previously stated that the margaritas were good and the food decent. For the third time this summer, the margaritas have been horrible. They are too sweet and have very little tequila. The service has also gone down hill. I will not be back. I must now look for a new place in South Philly for good margaritas.16 Sep, 2009Good margaritas. Decent food.
Great neighborhood restaurant to go to for your Mexican fix. Love the burritos! Great drinks. Wait staff friendly. Off the beaten track. Love the rustic interior..feels authentic. Latin music should be played as well on the juke box as well as ecclectic.
Good. This location seems to have less salads than Dos Segundos and is a little bit noisier, but I still love to go here and there! Servers are always pleasant.
