Devils Pocket replaced Resurrection Ale House late 2014. Resurrection had the better food and menu. Devils Pocket doesn’t have a great menu. The food really isn’t wonderful. The beer is pretty good, though. I give this place a 3.5 because it’s really good enough for people who live nearby. It’s not worth a special trip for people who don’t live near Grays Ferry. The atmosphere is good. The pub food is good enough. The fries are pretty good.

Want to like it so bad. We had two terrible experiences. Waited a long time for food and the food was over cooked and looked like mush. Staff was very apologetic but they have a long way to go. Miss the quality and taste of Resurrection. we had a true gem in the neighborhood.
