So I’m here now and all I can say is: Eh, it’s ok. Nothing special. If you come here, do not order a white chocolate biscotti. I almost broke my tooth on it!! I had to soak it in coffee so it was at least edible. I ordered a regular coffee and it was ok. Staff were friendly. If you want a great cup of joe, head to Matt’s Espresso A Mano, Make Your Mark or Tazza d’Oro.
Delanie’s is spacious, gracious, and delicious. It just may be my new favorite coffee shop in the Southside. The wild-berry smoothie I had was excellent, and I absolutely love the open, industrial feel. Most places in the Southside are cramped, but there is more than ample space here. Moreover, there is an outlet near the stools by the counter–a major plus! Delanie’s is certainly worth a visit.
