Finally! A decent Build Your Own Salad Bar in the ‘burgh.. New York has them on EVERY corner…finally, we get one! You can build your own salad from a wide selection of fresh ingredients or choose one of their many pre-selected versions. OR, you can get grilled cheese, fresh cut fries AND beer. Then, to top it all off, they were smart enough to put a pump of ranch dressing (Eat’n’Park’s version!) out for everyone to enjoy. Yes, I’m guilty of enjoying ranch on almost everything. You can keep it healthy or enjoy it w/ ranch all in one location. Love it!

Freakin’ awesome fries, fountain drinks, salads. I am hooked — terrific value for the money, delicious fries, homegrown business. They have the best fountain drinks ever! Good coffee is $1! Great customer service at both locations.
We came to Hello Bistro expecting a middle of the road Eat n Park spin off. Why we found was a mixed bag at best. We ordered the Over-easy burger, Fiesta Chicken Salad and Potato Soup. The burger and soup were standard fare, not bad but nothing special. However the salad was bland and flavorless. After reviewing the bill and seeing it was a $9 salad may wife requested a refund/replacement food item. The manager was rude and seemed personally offended that she did not like the salad. After much back and forth he finally allowed her to order an Italian Grilled cheese at no cost, we ate the additional $3 the salad cost. I would not recommend Hello Bistro the food is the same quality you would get at a chain restaurant with the staff having an attitude like they are serving high end gourmet.
Fast and Delicious. I love going to Hello Bistro. I always create my own salad and they have a ton of options. Burgers are delicious as well. Especially the veggie burger. Most veggie burger have that cardboard taste but these taste freshly made every time. The natural sugar soda is a plus!
It’s a zippy, family-friendly addition to the South Side. Great salad options. And there’s beer even. I expect our family will be regulars.
