These donuts are huge and dense. I ended up completely full on just half a donut. The variety of flavors available is always fun, but they are big cake donuts so you will fill up fast.
Donuts were an obvious omission in the ample grub available in the South Side. Happily, the only hole that remains is the one in the treats offered at Just Good Donuts. My kids generally prefer raised glazed donuts, so they quickly devoured the ample sugar-coated chew of JGD’s version. The cake donuts were terrific as well. I didn’t try the fancy donuts, but there’s time for that. Yay, donuts.
