Will Never come again. Pepper steak was horrible. Servers were gabbing about their bipolarness. Worst place ever.
Aweaome little place with great Japanese food. They don’t do the nakama, Benihana in your face hibachi, but your bill will be half the price and the quality of the food is much better. Very friendly staff too!
Great!! We r planning on going back ASAP! The ginger salad dressing was amazing. Edamame was good, could have used more salt. The sushi was very fresh! The only thing I would change would be more specialty rolls to choose from. I would recommend this place to anyone!
First time trying authentic sushi and Little Tokyo was great! Had the First Date Roll (fittingly on a first date), the Dragon Roll and the Spicy Scallop Roll. All great, especially the FDR. Light and delicate tasting but with amazing flavor. Service was also quick and extremely courteous. Looking forward to going back.
Frank. Love your restaurant but the service is slipping. Return to the good days.
Be CAREFUL of their sushi. Went their for lunch because I wanted to try this place. I sat at the Sushi bar and ordered nigir sushi. The Salmon and Tuna came out fairly quickly are were not bad. The Mackerel I ordered took for ever, I presume they had to defrost it, or work to make it edible. When the sushi chef finally brought it, he squeezed a lot of lime juice over it. The fish did not look right, and it even smelled fishy after all that lime juice. When I asked him about the fish and the lime juice, he explained that I probably wasn’t familiar with this type of fish. I replied to the chef that I know Mackerel (and Sushi) very well, and had just moved back to Pittsburgh from living 6 years in Japan. I explained that sushi should never smell fishy. He acted surprised that the fish smelled fishy, then very humbly apologized and took it away.In hindsight, I should not have tried ordering mackerel because is spoils easily and just stuck to the higher volume salmon, tuna, unagi etc. HOWEVER, he knowingly served me old smelly fish, tried to mask it and then tried to pass it off as normal to what he assumed was an unsuspecting customer. Be cautious if you eat here, as at least this one time the chef was willing to endanger one patron to make a few bucks. I won’t go back.
Great service. The people are very welcoming. After being used to the horrible sushi from the restaurant, Tokyo, when I came here the sushi was absolutely delicious! The service was amazing. We had gotten a boat and we were served dumplings, fried prawns, and mochi ice cream! everything tasted great. except the tonkatsu is dry.
