Good Carson Street Sushi. Little Tokyo may not have the best sushi in Pittsburgh, but it’s currently my go-to place on Carson Street. The quality of the sushi is comparable (or sometimes better) to Nakama, at a fraction of the price. I’ve only been to LT for lunch and only had sushi. The service has always been impeccable. We’re greeted promptly by friendly waitstaff and usually one or more of the staff behind the sushi bar. Wait staff is friendly, reasonably knowledgeable about the menu (or willing to find out!) and usually have good suggestions.I’ve always asked for the freshest/best sushi options for the day and have not been disappointed, though earlier in the week seems to be slightly better in general. Had some really wonderful amberjack there and some very fresh sea urchin a few weeks later. Definitely a better choice than the much trendier Nakama for sushi-lunch on the South Side.
All service and food was delicious will come back again
