Loved this place. Got the paella Valencia and was overwhelmed. Had never tried paella before. The atmosphere was great and the people and service made the visit enjoyable.

Eh it was ok. The food was tasty, but the portions were small. When you pay premium prices you expect premium food, it was not. Also, like other comments, it was cramped and the seating was not good. The veggies were bland, the side of rice was ordinary, the chips where chips ?

Don’t waste your money. All of our food ranged from mediocre to bad. Nothing tasted fresh or flavorful. The sangria was 90% fruit juice. The dessert was the only tasty thing we had.

Five Guys is better. I never ate at Mallorca before last evening and I never will again. A friend and I had a seafood dinner for Good Friday, I ordered Paella Valencia and was surprised at what I was served. The assorted seafood was shrimp you could find at Long John Silvers, the spanish rice was from the frozen food isle and the sausage looked like small tongues curled up. The only thing that was good is they didn’t add chicken to the dish. I’ve never took the time to write a review, but the bill I received and the food that was served, I had to say something…I just didn’t want to in front of the girl I was with.

Middle of the road. I had high expectations that were not met. My meal wasn’t particularly memorable although my daughter raved about her delmonico with Gorgonzola. The wait staff was relatively attentive but the room was packed. I made a tactical error and didn’t coat check. We were seated by the waiter station(open to the room…thumbs down) . My coat was stepped on and my seat jostled all through dinner as the waiters passed by. For the price, every seat in the house should be comfortable. Given the choices in Pittsburgh, it’s unlikely I will give this place a second shot.

Fantastic meal!. My husband and I ate here last Saturday for my birthday. We had an early reservation (4:30) because we were going to the Nutcracker at 7. The service was excellent. We both ordered something from the specials (they are as long as the menu!). My husband got the Del Monico (sp?) steak and I got the stuffed salmon. They were both delicious! The meals come with salad, rice, steamed veggies, and spanish potatoes. Everything is definitely pricey but definitely worth it!! We will be returning!
