  Patron. Food was good but restaurant refused to accept $100 in gift cards we received at the Savor Pittsburgh fundraiser from Lincoln. Manager refused to accept our cards and advised us to take it up with their downtown location, went as far as providing the downtown locations phone number. Would never return to this restaurant.

  Birthday Dinner Gone Bad. We took our son for his birthday dinner and it was a disaster. The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was not busy at all. After we waited an hour for our dinner to be served (also having an impatient 4 yr old) we were told that their ordering system was down. To add insult to injury the food itself was not good as was the portion size of the meals. Afterwards we had to go around asking if our server could bring us our bill. By the time it was said and done we were there for 2.5 hours and were completely disappointed.

  $300.00 for 5 people–not THAT good!!!!. The lobster bisque was very good–but it was $13!! the fried oysters were good also. we had salmon for dinner, mine was stuffed with crabmeat–I didn’t see any, it was just like a crumb topping–another person had the berry reduction sauce with salmon-it was just a tiny bit of sauce with a dry piece of salmon. the mixed grill wasn’t that great either. My husbands steak was good. the creamed spinach was delicious but cold and the red pepper mashed potatoes–don’t bother –hard and dry. the crme brulee and flourless chocolate cake were good.

  NEVER EVER AGAIN. Service was beyond slow.Had rsvps for 7:45 – was sat at 8:00.But did not leave until after 10 due to the SLOW arrival of our food.Actually had to go ask for hot sauce for oysters after waiting over 15 minutes. Half of the mussels weren’t opened&very little broth, but several rocks! Halibut was VERY dry and over cooked. The dessert was stale. At this point after dealing with it all, we asked for the cake to be taken off the bill. The waiter said manager said no. We asked for the manager to come over. He was THE biggest ahole I’ve ever met. Very condescending & said cake was fine. Asked us what we wanted him to do. How about learning how to treat your customers for starters.Only independent restaurants from now on. And restrooms had no tp

  Food is great, but wine costs ruin the experience. Even though the food is usually delicious, we always walk away from M&S vowing never to come back. This time we will stand by that vow, or at least until we hear that they decide to be more reasonable with their prices for a glass of wine. $10 to $15 for a single glass of wine is absolutely outrageous especially when you consider that some of their wines are less expensive for an ENTIRE bottle at the liquor store than they charge for a single glass. $6 to $9 is much more reasonable and seems to be the industry standard for restaurants of that type.

  Inconsistent. I’ve had amazing food here in the past, and recently visited McCormick & Schmick’s for Valentine’s day dinner. The restaurant was very busy, but that’s no excuse for the poor food and the high prices we paid. I ordered some type of fish prepared with a creole-style topping and everything was so salty that I couldn’t taste anything else. I could not finish my meal. My date was also unimpressed :/
