This is one of our favorite places to eat in the south side. We’ve been her tons of time and have never been disappointed. Bloody Mary is very good but it is 2nd best next to flatheads. Very good beer selection.
Came here during our trip for the 2015 disc golf world championship. First off I have to say this place was excellent. Plenty of beer on tap, and delicious food. I had a bacon burger, the bacon was candied and the burger was cooked perfectly. We also had the Irish egg, a hard boiled egg surrounded by sausage and deep fried to perfection. Our service couldn’t have been better, and upon our arrival the bartender greeted us and made us aware of all the beers offered. Overall this place was our favorite stop during our trip to Pittsburgh .
One of my favorite places to grab dinner and drinks. I have never had a bad meal or experience. The authentic pub feel really makes it unique in the Southside.
Amazing I recommend Sunday Brunch. Diamond in the rough kinda place. The scotch eggs are a great starters. Dozens of beers on tap. Servings enough to feed an army. *burp*
Absolutely amazing! I got the goat cheese stuffed chicken and my friend got the special of the day. The chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. We also got hummus as an app and that was great as well.
BLIMEY!. Stopped in last night. is there some sort of law in Pittsburgh you cant have more than one bartender behind the bar on a Saturday? no wonder there were dirty plates half way down the bar! it never ceases to amaze how CHEAP people in this city are……
Honestly Disappointed. I had a hankering tonight for some fish and decided to go to Piper’s Pub. I have been to Piper’s Pub many times and found the food to be awesome, the portions were large and the pricing was very fair. I was so disappointed tonight! I found that the prices were raised which I did not mind but upon ordering and receiving my fish I was served three very small squares of fish and some pieces of what was supposed to be french fries. Boy! This is not what I am used to. I would like to give some advice to the owners of Piper’s Pub who are great people. Don’t reduce the level and quality of your food after raising your prices, I am going to think long and hard about going back due to not wanting to be highly disappointed again. So please look at this as constuctive criticism and buyers beware.
