On a busy social evening, this place is claustrophobic. The guy at the door was extremely rude to people in our party, splitting us up and making women wait in the cold due to fire code capacity. While they waited, people were leaving and still those outside weren’t admitted. It isn’t worth it for an expensive can of PBR.
Good Lunch. Just had a very good lunch at this adorable, clean pub. Excellent fried fish sandwich. It was a light crispy batter with a good tasting mild cod. My husband’s steak sandwich was also very good and the fried pickles were quite tasty. We will definitely return. It’s good to find a hidden gem on the South Side.
