Terrible food!. My husband and I loved the atmosphere and they had loads of beer on tap but when we tried our food..it was disgusting! Only 1 star…not coming back. Waitress seen we didnt eat our food yet offered boxes…ummm you would assume we didnt like it! Grose!
I find it tricky that their Saturday special is $2.50 domestic bottles and…correct me if I’m wrong, but domestic means American brewed. I clarify because I ended up paying $5 for an American brewed stone IPA the same for 21st amendment choices. False advertisement!
Solid Food – Beers Aut the Ying Yang. I live a few blocks away from Smoking Joe’s and was originally hesitant when asked if I wanted to grab a bite to eat there. The general misconception is that Smokin Joe’s is primarilly a spot to stop for a drank, which is a reasonable assumption considering the vast amount of beer options both on tap and bottled…but don’t let this fool you, the food is legit. I’ve been back several times since and have tried an array of sandwhiches/burgers and appetizers. The cuisine isn’t overpriced either and most meal items are in the 10ish dollar range…standard for Southside. If you don’t stop in at Joe’s then your getting Smoked son!
