I’ve been wanting to try this place for over a year and finally did. It was worth the wait. Although the ambiance fits in with the South Side bar scene it is a toned down version of that…at least on Sunday evenings which is when I went. The food was delicious. The Jamaican Jerk Chicken dish had just enough spice and loads of flavor. The bone marrow dish was simply delicious. I can’t wait to bring visiting family members here and to come back and work my way through the menu.
Walking distance from the Holiday Inn. Strolled along the street first then decided on thisConcept looks different. We were not disappointed. I hot the fried bone marrow.sinful but delicious. Menu board attached. All good. Even service is excellent.they anticipate your needs.happy customer.
Passing this place every Thursday night on my way to play in the Pittsburgh Pinball League, I finally decided to stop in and was VERY HAPPY when I left! After surveying the menu, I decided on the Jerk Chicken Skewers with Red Beans And Rice and the Cuban Sandwich. Neither of them disappointed at all! Sure there could have been an extra skewer of the jerk chicken or maybe a teeny bit more of the red beans and rice, but overall everything was REALLY good! When my waitperson asked me how everything was, I explained to him that what I was about to say was ‘a compliment’: and that was that ‘everything tastes like the way THAT I MAKE IT’! And that also means that I will be returning soon, and you all should try out Streets On Carson, too…if you have not done so already.
Food is always excellent – the Huarache is great. The wings are perfect fall-off-the-bone tenderness. With the place being pretty new still, it doesn’t seem to have figured out if it’s a restaurant or bar yet.Either way, come for the food.
