Very different atmosphere. Love the fact that they have multiple options to choose from when it comes to beer. Also the food is good would definitely recommend the wings any flavor is amazing.
This place’s reviews are just mediocre, but I really enjoyed their food. We had a couple drinks at the bar first. Service was attentive there and at our table. Charcuterie platter is a generous portion. My wife and I both had the Bison Burger, which was excellent. Burgers seem to either be puny and boring or a gigantic inedibly sloppy mess. This one was the perfect middle ground. Lots going on, but you could still manage it.Also, their coleslaw is vinegar-based. I’m a sucker for a vinegar-based slaw. The cabbage was shredded very fine and it was full of celery seed. Great crisp tart compliment to a burger.Great beer selection, great whiskey selection. Discovered a new favorite. We were there on a Friday around 7PM…waited maybe 20 minutes for a table? Not bad at all. Not sure what else to say…recommended.
I really love the mixed drinks here. The urban gimlet was the best drink that I have ever had. My husband likes the selection of micro brews. Food is good but not great and pricey.
We went for happy hour.. Ordered the nachos, tofu, and the Brussel sprouts. I have to say. The tofu and sprouts were absolutely amazing! We will be back !
Awesome staff, amazing food & one hell of a beer selection! They always have a NEW dinner feature every night & their fresh cut fries are definitely something to write home about. Every experience I have had at the Tap has been better than than the last. Keep it up guys!
The absolute best beer selection in the south side! I try to get something different every time, and I’m never disappointed, but my go to is the brisket burger.
Food was good, but nothing super amazing. They’re capitalizing on the hip urban location and nice ambiance but not on their food. I didn’t have anything that would make me go back there.
