Been there twice in the past couple of weeks and was happy each time. Extensive menu, tasty food, knowledgeable and friendly service. Comparably as expensive as other Thai restaurants in the ‘burgh. Going again soon, with friends.
Save yourself some time; go elsewhere. This trashy restaurant is poorly run with no customer service, they’ll force you to wait 2 hours, and then cancel your order. Very bad.
Bangkok balcony. Food was terrible!, small portions that were overpriced and overcooked. the wait time was horrendous. I threw most of it in the garbage a waste of money for a New Year’s Eve meal with my wife will never go back there again
Awful!. My husband and I normally go to nicky;s thai kitchen but with a bunch of friends telling us how great this place was we decided to try it. we were completely dissapointed. I got crab rangoons as an appetizer and they were disguisting and cold. My husband got chicken fried rice and he said it had no flavor and ate 3 bites and I ordered chicken with vegetables which was completely bland and we did not like or wish to take it home. Our plates were completely full and the watress said did you like it and we both replied it was bland. she took our plates never offered to get us something else or take the food off our bill. $50.00 later after the nasty food my husband and I went through mcdonalds drive thru and that was more appetizing then our food from bangkock balcony.
Longtime favorite. I’ve been going here for years. I love everything. & always get a mango or green custard sticky rice to take home. Yum!
Had lunch at Bangkok Balcony while visiting Pittsburgh. Had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and it was excellent! Service was also excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
One of the restaurants on second floor in Pittsburgh, reminded me of New York. Have to be attentive when reaching the door. May get banged if careless. Good and fresh food. On higher side though . If available, try to get seat on street view.
