Oh my god. Delicious. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming storefront. I have never ever seen a melonpan in the States before, let alone one that is freshly baked. The amazingly sassy Taiwanese owner is a powerhouse baker and hilarious. Be sure to hit up a conversation with her as her cookies melt in your mouth.
Wow is all I can say, but not for the good. I had a coffee and also ordered one of their cookies. When I entered the store the decor was very basic and as I ordered I noticed a freezer right next to me. After placing my cookie order I saw the lady come to the front of the counter and take the cookie I had ordered straight out of the depths of the freezer….. I couldn’t believe it??? I have never seen a bakery do that in my life…. My cookie was microwaved and passed to me along with the coffee! Absolutely awful, I don’t know where the good reviews are coming from? Not great stuff and not to mention my burnt mouth from the microwaved chocolate chips!
