This is an easy review…good pizza, decent subs, really good prices.Nothing over the top here…just your normal hole in the wall pizza place. They have 3-4 pizzas you can get by the slice and lots of subs/other things to choose from. Seating is limited, but most people are getting it to go anyway. The only complaint I’ve had there is that it took them a little longer than expected to make a sub. But it wasn’t a horrible delay, just more of an inconvenience. Other than that, every trip there has been a winner…in my opinion, the best pizza in Squirrel Hill (although Aiellos and Mineos aren’t far behind)UPDATE (2/4/16) – Got a different sub today…the time it takes them to make a sub vs. warm up a slice of pizza is pretty extreme. My wife was done eating 2 slices before I got my sub. Also, there was a lot of confusion with the orders. Downgraded the rating from 4.5 to 4 because of the slower service and confusion. Still good food…and I’ll still go back.(picture is half of a chesseburger hoagie)

In response to terrible customer service guy.. I was there and witnessed the owner ask this guy who did not pay very nicely several times to pay his bill. The kid played dumb and said he never had even ate at the place before, which from his side of the story is a lie. The kid was then given the choice to pay up or never come back. He choose to leave which is fine. I work at Napolis and take great pride in treating customers with respect. Of course when you try to skip the bill, the respect goes out the window. I encourage anyone to come into Napolis and leave without getting great customer service. It will not happen.

Terrible customer service :((. I was walking past this place today, when the owner/employee knocked on the window and asked if I can come in. Then he told me that I left that place without paying some time ago. I am absolutely sure that is impossible because he said I had salad which I totally never ordered in that place. I think at some point he knew he was wrong, but he wouldn’t give up anyway and kept insisting. Of course I didn’t give him anything though.Don’t go there! There pizza is not that good either.

Best Ham and Cheese Sub in PIttsburgh!. I have been going to Napoli pizza in Squirrel Hill on Murray Ave. since I was in college at Chatham in 2002. I have only ever ordered one thing from them: A ham and prov sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, xtra mayo and Italian dressing. I can’t order anything else because every time I get one of these subs they are so delicious that I can’t wait to go back.I moved out of town for a few years between 2003 and 2013. When I came back to PIttsburgh, I was delighted to see that they were still flourishing!I ordered my old stand-by and by god it was even more delicious than I remembered!Key points of deliciousness:1. Chewy roll, ample size, with a handmade taste2. Quality ham that is savory and delightful3. Fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoes4. A creamy-tangy-rich mayonnaise that cannot be beat5. An Italian herbal dressing to finish 6. Milky provolone cheeseIn sum, if you HAVEN’T tried Napoli’s subs you definitely should. Your tastebuds will thank you. Best sandwich in Pittsburgh. More flavor than Primanti’s. Better rolls than any competitors I’ve tasted. I will be going back…SOON!

BEST IN SQUIRREL HILL!!. I have lived in Greenfield for a few years and for some reason have never tried Napoli’s until this weekend. We loved it! It is the best pizza I have had in Pittsburgh – generous toppings, great sauce, green olives (nobody ever has those). We have found our new regular pizza place! I can’t wait to try the meatballs!
