I can’t believe people go here. I got the appetizer of chicken tenders for $7.95 thinking I would get a good amount of chicken. I mean 8 bucks for an appetizer isn’t too bad because that means you usually get a lot. Or at least enough. I got four chicken tenders. Four! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I just paid $8 for 4 tenders. That’s two dollars a piece for chicken they didn’t bread themselves, ripped open from a frozen bag and stuck in a fryer and cooked a little too long. Four is a kid’s size meal. Appetizer also means you can share. This is not the case here. This appetizer is for a child. A very small child. At the same time I ordered fries. I’m thinking $3 for fries okay what the heck why not? Well I will definitely rethink that. There is no such thing as three dollars worth here. It was on a side plate and you get probably about half of what you should get. Needless to say you get about half of what you’re paying for. The prices of everything here is outrageous. I mean they have a sampler platter with I recall 3-4 items on it for $19! I mean who are they kidding? How is an appetizer plate double the price of some of the sandwiches? And you don’t receive your money’s worth! I just can’t even with this place. So ridiculous. Bye Felicia? More like Bye Silky’s!
Silky’s is by far one of the best bars in Pittsburgh. They always have sports on the Tv’s that are displayed throughout the bar. They play great music. Best Ruben, best wings, and best burger. I’d argue that they have the best wings in Pittsburgh. All around just great bar food. There is always a great homemade soup but their french onion is always delicious. I go there on a monthly basis and have always had a great experience.
