Service and Quality has really DroppedThis used to be my favorite bar while I was at Penn State. I used to go here to have some great drinks and just enjoy the place. After graduating last year I visited state college for the first time and made sure to stop here just to enjoy the experience again. We sat by the bar and asked for Manhattans and they were out of Maraschino cherries. The bartending and drink quality had also really dropped. A drink also dropped on the table so I asked for paper napkins they did not even have that. They mentioned they do not keep paper napkins, but they did not offer anything to clean the table. Finally, i requested to use the bar rag to clean my table.When I went to have a friendly conversation with the manager about this. She just told me straight up if I did not like it to not come here again. So that is what I am going to do and would not suggest anyone go here. They used to have a much better manager and staff earlier but I see that has definitely changed in the past one year.Although one thing is true you will get some good beers in this restaurant if you are a fan of beer.This place is definitely pricey compared to the rest of the bars, but you went for the quality and service which used to be impeccable and has definitely dropped greatly, so I would not suggest going here there are a few better bars with better staff and great drinks. Would definitely suggest going to any other place but this.
