Really good waffles. The waffles at Sadie’s are the best I’ve ever had; they are sweet, crisp on the outside and deliciously fluffy inside. These waffles are a step above what you would typically get at a diner elsewhere in town. Their crisp exterior allows the waffle to retain its structural integrity even after its been garnished with some of the many toppings available. So far, I have tried the berry cobbler waffle (with strawberries and cream cheese frosting) and the sweet and salty waffle (with maple syrup and bacon). Both exceeded my expectations, and I cant wait to try more options from the menu. The coffee is good and cheap ($1 with a waffle).Sadie’s hours are a bit short. They close at 3:00. I’ve stopped by after work, hoping to grab a cookie or something, only to find that they’re closed.If you’re looking to sit down with a large group (>4), it might be difficult here – tables are set up for two. But, if you’re just looking to grab a truly delicious breakfast before class/work, I can’t think of a better place to go.
