Excellent Sushi. We’ve eaten here many times and always enjoyed it. The sushi is top quality and the service is always prompt and friendly. We take my son here for special occasions because he likes it so much.
Best sushi in State College. Sakura has the absolute best sushi in State College – good even by the standards of larger cities. The Rainbow roll and Tempura rolls are fantastic, and the sashimi/sushi is always fresh. Service is fast and friendly; I’ve never had anything but good experiences there.
Great sushi, horribly slow service.
The first time that we went the service was ok, though slow. The food was great. We love sushi and we live close so we really wanted to like this place. The second time we went we were seated and waited for 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. Looking around we noticed several other tables in the same situation. When we first even saw the waitress she came out and started casually bussing a table. We decided to try another place and walked out. If you have the time and dont mind waiting for service and food this could be a good place.
