Love this place! The owner is often the cook, and she makes AMAZING wieners!!!! They may seem a little expensive with the fact that it’s a hot dog, but it is well, well worth the price. I’ve never had a bad dog there! They carry a plethora of beers, from domestic to craft. A+!

Lucky Louie’s has honestly the best hotdogs I’ve ever had. I would recommend coming to this place anytime of the day from in the morning (breakfast dog) to dinner (Asian invasion) they have the nicest service and always know how to please there customers. Besides what adult doesn’t like an amazing hot dog with toppings and a beer? I could go here anyday!
I Could Eat Here Every Day. I currently live out of state, but I grew up in Erie. I visit Lucky Louie’s every chance I get. I have had the Buffalo, Greek, Oral Arson, Chili, and Happy Endings. I loved them all! The greek sauce is absolutely the best I have ever had. The beer selection is outstanding for such a small building. The service is no-nonsense. If you are looking for the staff to give you a warm fuzzie feeling or to be an alternative to your therapist, forget it. But if you are looking for knowledgeable service on the beer selections, or hot dogs prepared to perfection, this is the place for you!
Best Hot Dogs, Hands Down!!. Me and my Fiancee were in town for the weekend. We rode our bike here for a quick lunch. Best hot dogs by far. Its across from the casino and might be tricky to find attached to the beer distributor. You need to eat at this place when you are in Erie. We limited ourselves to three and wish we could have tried more! We will be back for sure.Oh, they are now open until 7pm. Spread the word!
How did we not know about this place?. What a great place. The dog creations are outstanding and the variety of beers even better. We stumbled upon based on my daughters boyfriend and we were delighted and surprised as to how great this place is. I suggest you give it a try – then come back gain and again. ** update for June 2015, what a transformation. They updated the seating and the menu. Who should have thought it would get better.!!!
