Buffet Choices. Food available at the buffet
LOVE this restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh. The choices are beyond belief. Beautiful pieces of fish, ham, shrimp, 4 kind of soups. if you love sushi there is a lot of different kind. The employees are always friendly and the place is so clean.
Awful. Just awful. Food was under cooked and rubbery, service was rude and slow, not to mention the waitress could not comprehend anything we were saying. Constantly tried to get us our check (which was way over priced) and get us to leave. Dishes were dirty and unclean. Save yourself the possible health risk and go somewhere nicer. Will never be returning here again.
Dissatisfaction of food on Mother’s Day. My husband took me there for Mother’s Day, it was a total waste of a trip to Erie. When paying for a meal, I expect it to be as good as I can make at home or better, this fell quite short. The only thing that I thought was good was the rolls. I would have rather eaten at McDonalds than go there. Total waste of money.
Too Dark. Just eat recently ( April 19,2014) and find the place soo dark…..the ambiance is zero. I wonder why????? Was there ever an inspector from the Dept of Health or FDA and questions why the place is so dark? Are they hiding from something fishi? Maybe somebody should look into this although admittedly the food is really good.
A Succulent Chinese Meal. S&S Buffet a probably the finest buffet for the money in Erie. I consider myself almost a chinese buffet connoisseur, having been to most of the buffets in western PA as well as the Philadelphia area and NYC and I can tell you without a doubt that S&S stands very strongly by its own merit as a chinese buffet. Let’s be real here, you aren’t looking for delicacies or a dressed up night out on the town, you are looking to get Stuffed and filled and engorged so that you don’t have to do anything for the next 10 hours. S&S Is that place. For the price at lunch you can’t beat the deal. I always cheer in the car when i’m driving on the way up I-79, the billboard is around 13 miles away from the Kearsarge exit.
This USED to be our favorite place to go until last time we were here. An employee apparently thought it was ok to use the same gloves to clean the restroom and then the buffet tables.We’ll tonight was THE very last time we will eat here. More than 1/2 of the things we tried were barely warm, dirty silverware, just overall very disappointing dinner.
