We never got silverware the entire time. Save your money and make a burger at home!
Conveniently located off i90 however… Waitstaff was inattentive, kitchen was all kinds of messed up. We could even hear the waitresses complaining to them. The restaurant was less than half full and there were at least 4 waitresses, yet ours only came to our table twice–to take our order and bring the food. Either the wrong shake was ordered or made–similar shake but different taste when made with fresh fruit. I’ve had the shake problem before so I am very specific when I order it. They put the wrong bun on my burger and it crumbled as I picked it up. I went straight to the counter to ask for a new one and they gave me the same crappy bun, so I ate the burger with a fork. The only reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because I spoke to the manager and she was very nice and took the burger and shake off my bill.

Love the selection of burgers. Always something I want to try. Closest Steak ‘n Shake is 2 hours to me. So I always make sure I stop when traveling. Milkshakes are the BEST! Makes meal more expensive obviously:)
Poorly Run. This is just another Scott Family disaster. Poorly run, poorly managed and awful food. I waited 35 minutes for fast food that was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Never again!
Much better!. Returned to Steak N Shake this year (Had a coupon) and this establishment has done a 180! We were seated quickly, our Server Shelby was excellent in every way, friendly, informative and came to check on us 8-9 times! Our food arrived quickly via Shelby and our order was filled correctly and prepared perfectly. About 75% of the seats were filled so it wasn’t a crazy busy night but even if our server was further occupied I believe we would have seen her frequently enough to recieve good service. Not sure what changed at Steak N Shake but it worked well.18 Jul, 2012The food is typical, and the service is less than poor. The food is typical, and the service is lacking. Walked out after a long wait last time and for the last time. If management could organize the staff it could be an average establishment at best.
