Lots of Beer. Let me just start off with the one and only negative I have about U Pick 6: they are understaffed. There were only 3 people working who were trying to waitress and serve food, serve the people at the bar, and work the cash register — it got hectic during rush hour. Maybe this was just a fluke and this rarely happens, but it did take us 40 minutes to get our checks.Now that that is out of the way, everything else was either amazing or great. When I walked in I was greeted by the smells of wonderful beer and wood. We were quickly greeted by the bartender/waitress would told us the specials, which were too good to pass up (half off of appetizers and draft beer.) I ordered a draft beer without sampling any of the others even though she strongly suggested I did — on the other hand, my friends gladly did.After we ordered appetizers (chips and buffalo beer cheese dip = great) we looked at the wide variety of beer in their 6 Pack Coolers. And, wow, that is a lot of beer; it ranged from common light beers to some of the top rated on BeerAdvocate.com. Once we were served the appetizers, we ordered dinner. The menu only has smaller items such as sandwiches and hot dogs, which are top-notch, but not too filling. We were glad we got the appetizers and I suggest you do as well. Also, the potato salad was the best I’ve ever had.All in all, the experience was great and highly suggest this to anyone who likes beer or sandwiches. I’ll be going to this place almost any time I’m on Peach Street.

Great Atmosphere. Who would have thought that a beer store would be more like a pub filled with friendly, down-to-earth people? I sure didn’t, but that’s exactly what I found at U Pick. I recommend stopping in and having a few beers – you will be glad you did. They have a great selection and you can sample what’s on tap before drink it. Oh, and if you feel like mixing and matching beers in your six pack…the name says it all.
