They do mundane very well. The food was alright. The wine bad (even though they’ve won a lot of awards for it) and the service awkward. I would say that this meal was not worth the money I spent on it. The earl grey ice cream was delicious, but hardly compensated for the outrageous price of it all. What I think we have here is a chef and restaurant that does not accept its limits.Beautiful dinning room. And I will always recommend the pub section to anyone.

Stellar. One of – if not THE – best meals I have ever had. Anniversary dinner with my wife, did the multi-course price-fixe menu. Go. Eat. Relax. Enjoy. All locally sourced produce and meat make for unbelievably fresh and outstandingly tasty dishes. Cannot wait to go back – I will have to save my $$$ first, ‘cuz it ain’t cheap, but it is worth every cent.

If you have a chance to stay here, please do not turn down the opportunity. The cottages are very romantic. The food was fabulous. Filet cooked too perfection. The asparagus and haricots were fresh and well seasoned. The garlic mashed were a bit on the salty side. Before dinner we had fresh fruit, variety of local cheeses, butlered hors devours of pan seared scallops, mini crab cakes, potato latkas, bruscetta… The pear-candied walnut salad was dressed to perfection. This placed surpassed my expectations.

Elegant Dinning. Elegant dinning and scrumptious entrees. Most ingredients are raised on site and they feature organic offerings. Many may consider the prices high but the atmosphere, food and service are of a unique caliber that supports the premium prices. For fine dining close to Allentown The Glasbern Inn will be hard to top.~ W ~
