Kam wah is a terrible place. The food is disgusting! I ordered chicken wings with fried rice and they told me that they don’t do that so they sold me chicken and rice for 10$! What kind of place doesn’t have chicken wings and fried rice combos?! And to top it off, the rice was rubbery and pale. Gross. Save your money.
Unique and tasty boneless spare ribs!. I found this humble little Chinese joint driving down York Ave. It doesn’t look like much, but the food was quite tasty. I had the boneless spare ribs and found them to be uniquely prepared in comparison to most Chinese takeout restaurants. They slice the ribs thinly and cook them in that delicious, sweet red sauce…the results are a much more consistent and tender serving of ribs than you would expect for a $6 lunch special.
