Lamb sold for Croatian day. First I have to say this review is not in regards to Latina’s pizza which I’ve had and is good. Its to the novice lamb roaster who sold the lamb out of latinas on Croatian day. First, the 7 pounds I purchased for a price of $112.00 contained at least 2 pounds of bones upon opening. I understand bones are inevitable with the sale but don’t wink at me and think your giving me a deal when you say the total weight was 7 1/4 pounds. Secondly, the first of 2 bags was pretty good(leg&shoulder) but the second bag(rib) was so heavily salted it was to the point of inedibility which my poor brother had to consume who drove 40 miles for. I understand the basics of cooking lamb from my father, salt and olive oil but honestly you need to check your food before selling it. I hope your not there next year so I don’t have to physically go into kennywood and wait in a longer line. You need to stick to selling pizza in the north side

Latinas pizza is the best pizza all-around. I grew up on their pizza when they were in duquesne . Their prices are great…but I would pay whatever price for their food. They are my first stop everytime I come in town.

Excellent but acquired taste. Indigenous pizza that you sort of have to be raised on to understand. It’s one of those foods that once you get it, it’s addicting. If you don’t get it or weren’t introduced to it in the 1970’s, chances are you’ll hate it. This puffy, air crust pizza is popular in this section of the monongahela valley. The owners are nice and the prices are crazy cheap. It’s next to the Kennywood lot so You can pay $25.00 at kennywood for a mediocre pizza or you could go to Latinas and get one for $8.00 that’s a mon valley classic.

You have to try Al’s hoagies, homemade buns made daily, kind of skimpy on thecheese, ask for extra.

Can’t beat the pizza for the price. You either love it or you hate it. I think it’s great. Square pizza. Bread crust not dough. Great with beer.
