Awesome GastroPub in West Reading. I drove by this location on Saturday after lunching elsewhere, but made a mental note to head back to Chatty Monks Brewing Company for Sunday brunch. I was very happy I made the trip back to this West Reading establishment! The interior of the space has dining tables in the front with a large bar and bar tops in the rear of building. The dining area was full and the bar area was pretty empty when I arrived but filled up quickly.Throughout my dining experience, I sampled 4 beers (of course, 5 oz. at a time) starting with the Belgian White, moving onto to the Irish Red, ESB and ending with Endoplasmic Reticulum IPA. All were very good and I look forward to going back to sample the other rotating Belgians, Stouts and Ales.I chose the Smoke Salmon Panini which was a full 8 oz. piece of smoked salmon chopped, with American and cheddar cheese, onions on crispy artesian bread. This sandwich did not disappoint as the smoked salmon was the predominant flavor but the cheese and onion added a nice balance to the overall flavors. Other items on the brunch menu were traditional Irish fare such as an Irish Breakfast that featured black and white pudding, sausages and eggs.I will be returning to sample more food and, of course, more of the finely crafted beer. A definite stop for anybody while in West Reading for brunch, lunch or dinner.
