Disappointing… Food was bland… service wasn’t great… And the party downstairs gave me a massage the whole meal …did not live up to the reviews. Disappointing.
Just tried to come here for breakfast and they’re closed. It’s 10 am. How can you advertise being open for breakfast? Plus last time I went for happy hour it took 15 minutes, at least, to get a beer. The tap was out and i was never offered another drink instead. Oh and still paid for it.11 May, 2011My dad and i thought this place was just a regular diner but we loved it. I got a salmon salad that was expensive but very filling. My dad ordered fish stuffed with crab and he loved it! We ordered the apple crisp and it was pretty good for basic apple crisp. I’ll be going back.
Food was decent, but when my friends got accidentally covered in salad dressing, I was shocked that their meals weren’t comped.
Service is outstanding. I have eaten at Chef Alan many times and will continue to return, service is outstanding and food is delicious!
Worst service ever. We went there for the ‘all you can eat’ happy hour – we got seated, put in our drink order, and never saw our waiter again. A runner brought our drinks to us, but despite sitting and waiting for about 45 minutes for somebody to come by (while watching four or five other waitstaff attend to other diners) we finally just dropped roughly enough cash to cover the tab on the table and walked out.The Chef Alan’s at Fairgrounds Square is much better.
