Expansion coming. This hip and unique spot for the Reading area (only wine bar in town) is expanding into the vacated Wise Owl space next door. I hoped that would happened even before the Owl moved in. Interesting wine classes and a different selection of wine, no Yellow Tail crap or oxygenated wines like plenty of other places serve. Their cocktails are good too, as are their snacks and servers. Romantic with chilled out techno or classic music.
OH MY YUM!. I just fell in love with Winedown Cafe’s Truffled mushroom and artichoke flatbread pizza, the mix of flavors was delightful and to finish off with the Sticky Toffee cake….my taste buds were dancing! The staff was so very nice. I will be a regular at this cafe!

Wine and Cheese. I have been to Winedown several times since it opened and can honestly say that every experience has been an enjoyable one. You can order all kinds of cheese and wine from all over the world. My friends and I go there often, and so do my parents. I recommend you sit in the back on the sofa’s if you have a big group, there is more room there. If you like wine and cheese this is the place to go.
WINEDOWN is way UP there!. Winedown has a corner bar mentality with an upcale chic that is hard to dismiss. You can make the argument that the wine is expensive and it is, but it is good wine and you get an education while drinking it.The cheese selection and presentation is fantastic and compliments the wine perfectly!! I love this place!!!
