  Great food, poor (phone) service. The food has always been good here, but the staff needs a refresher in customer service. Was put on perma-hold tonight and got to listen to about 13 minutes of personal gossip in the kitchen. I’d let it go, but it’s not the first time this has happened. I complained on FB and someone immediately deleted it. Too bad they didn’t share the same concern for my order.

  I have gone to this place a few times now and love everything on the menu, the service is great the choice of bbq sauce’s is top notch, I would tell everyone to try this place

  Smells great about 2 blocks away, tastes even better then it smells. The food is great mind you it is already cooked by the time you get there so you’re not sure to how fresh it really is. The pulled pork was dry but there’s 8 different sauces for that, including the firey habanero BBQ and the delicious Sweet Heat. Sure the food is high school lunch style involving bottled drinks and paper plates but keep in mind it’s a smoke house and it’s definitely affordable for the average paycheck to paycheck middle classmen and classwomen.

  The ribs were loaded with meat. Not the most tender I have ever eaten but very good, great smokey taste. 8 different types of sauces to please anyone. Would go again.

  So So but maybe worth another chance. I went here for take out on a week night. Not the friendliest group of people. THey were out of several items. I ordered the brisket chili and it was soooooo salty and inedible. I am hoping this was a cooking error and hope to try it again. The potato salad was delish, as was macaroni & cheese and the green beans. Unfortunately the items were not packaged correctly and the green bean container was pen, dripping over everything else and ripping the bag open. Our pulled pork sandwiches were not made with any sauce (and therefore VERY dry), nor was any offered. Since this was my first time there, I did not know enough to ask or where to get any sauce to go. I will ask next time and hope to have a friendlier experience. Overall, seems to be a place with some promise and if the next experience is better, I can see this becoming a frequent favorite for those weeknight dinners when work keeps me late and the family is starving. I would only suggest they ask about sauces with sandwiches, be friendlier to their paying clientele and pack items more carefully. Not much to ask in my humble opinion – I am sure they would want to be treated respectfully at places they go to spend hard earned money.

  Food was good. I ordered burnt ends and the turkey with beans and coleslaw. Hubby ordered brisket potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad I was told it was to die for…it was underseasoned and all I could taste was mayo. The brisket was decent but overcooked. Turkey was really juicy and the burnt ends weren’t too bad. They don’t have much to choose from as far as a variety of BBQ sauces. Most were vinegar based and watery. The only ones really thick and creamy were the habanero or the original. We paid $26 for decent BBQ. Thought it was a little pricy for the size of the plates but I might return at a later date.
