Disappointed! Fresh chips and local made beer were good, food ok however service was slow and charged for samples. 2 of 3 that I sampled I would never drink and left 95% in the very small sample glass. Pub Food. Tasty, though not what I expected. The panini sandwich labeled Cuban actually had italian sausage on it instead of sliced pork so I was a bit disappointed. The service was also a little slow.
Mussels are outstanding. Beer is excellent. About to have a burger but couldn’t wait to comment.
Craft Beer, Good Food & Good Atmosphere. The Bullfrog is a great local brew house that offers and ever changing selection of in-house craft beers. The menu features local, organic products and it is delicious with a little something for everyone. Most evenings the place is busy and they offer great local entertainment on the weekends. Atmosphere is typical of such an eatery. Relaxed, but trendy. Pricing is average for the quality of what you get. It is by no men’s cheap, but it’s worth it.
This is a place worth eating at. Beer was good but selections were very limited if you do not like IPA’s. Salad and salad dressings were very good. BBQ chips were great. Pork dinner was good. Fish and chips were a disappointment. The fish was not very fresh.
I’ve always heard great things about the Bullfrog, boy was I deceived. Don’t get my wrong, the beer was excellent and the variety was also pleasing. However; the food was cold, and bland, which was rather disappointing. Breweries that serve food have certain expectations to uphold, basically if you serve good beer, you gotta serve good food too, because if you don’t someone else will.
Great beer…crab dip is real good…very cool place, good tunes
