Excellent dining experience. Staff is personable, professional and knowledgeable of the service they provide. Nowhere else would I recommend to anyone for a fine-dining experience in the Williamsport area.
If you want fine dining this is the best in Williamsport. It is professional white table cloth dining done right. The food is remarkable and you can taste the quality. We are lucky to have a place like this in Williamsport.
Service is declining. I have eaten dinner on numerous occasions and have been happy with the whole package, but I’m starting to see why my husband is not so fond of DiSalvos anymore.A few months ago, went for lunch the first time, which literally turned into an afternoon lunch! -Which, we were in no hurry and in good company, but we were there for over 2 hrs. It was a good 20 min til we ordered drinks, 40 min. til we received them and then waited quite a while for ordering. Then, the order was messed up – 4 orders wrong…which were not sent back, due to the time already passed. Food however was great! Lunch menu is priced very reasonable. Our waiter did a great job overall, although he was literally sweating bullets since there was only one server and with the mistakes, things were getting rough!I realize this is one experience, but like I mentioned, others I know have recently noticed this change in service. There was another couple that ended up leaving after waiting so long, so plan accordingly and hopefully this issue will get turned around soon!
Best gnocci ever!. We went there for our anniversary. Room was a little warm because of the wood burning oven but open kitchen was nice entertainment. Everything was good. Zuppa di Granchio (crab bisque) was so rich, in a good way, that I didn’t think I would be able to eat dinner. Lamb chop app, ordered mid rare, was a little over done but still had good flavor. But the gnocci…the gnocci.I thought I had good gnocci in the past. DiSalvo’s has ruined gnocci for me. I can’t order it anywhere else because I know that it will pale in comparison.
Fine Italian Dining. Very nice place to go out w/the Mrs. for a fine Italian meal. Especially nice out on the patio. Very well decorated and feeling of old time dining.
K this place seems great for a lavish adult night out… Drinks, beautiful dinning, outdoor patio, band on the Friday night we went, but food didn’t par up to their prices…
I have been a fan of DiSalvo’s for a numerous ammount of years. The reason I am is because of the wonderfull food and kindness of the family and staff. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant I have been to and i have had my share of many other establishments in my life time.
