Great Experience. Good food, good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is consistently good. Prices aren’t bad. This is a regular stop for my friends and I.

One of my favorite places to eat great service seeing as though it’s owned by a small family mainly the husband and wife. Love the Drunken Noodle and Pineapple Fried Rice definitely try them!

Best food in Williamsport. I can not say enough good things about Joy Thai. I could eat here every day and not get tired of it, it is that good. The tom yum soup is amazing and I always get drunken noodles or pad kra prao, but when I do venture out and try a new dish I am never disappointed. Everything that I have eaten here has been unbelievable and full of flavor. You MUST try Joy Thai. Williamsport is so lucky to have such an amazing Thai restaurant! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Good for Lunch, a little bit over priced for not real Thai food.. I was in Thailand once, and ate out everywhere, everyday. I was in Joy Thai couple times. Here is some of opinion: curry dish and pad Thai taste pretty good, but you just get a little bit taste of Thai food. The street food in Thailand is better than this. But we can’t go to Thailand all the time, right? So, we have to eat those Americanized Thai food, just like those Chinese food here. The lunch potion there is not that big enough if you get used to regular American restaurants, I never got filled up by just ordering one entree. But it is about $8 per one dish and comes with a free soup or salad. So not bad deal. Other dishes are pretty normal, some of them just taste like those Chinese food, but more expensive price. Dinner dishes are good sizes, big portion, but some of them are kind of expensive, like those specialties, around $20 per one dish, no salad or soup come with it. Other dinner entrees are around $11 per dish just for beef or chicken kinds of meat inside. Shrimp will be $2 more. But their Tom Yum soup is such a failure, I can make better than theirs just by using some Tom yum paste. It just has 1/20 taste of the real thing, not good at all. It costs over $3 for a small bowl, not worth the money at all.Anyway lunch time is the best time for the price.

Superb meal, out of all the Thai places I have eaten at Joy Thai takes the cake. First of all, the service was very attentive, something you do not see in Williamsport very often which made my experience already enjoyable. Secondly, the food came out fast and hot, no heat lamps here. And lastly, the food was beyond my expectations. I ordered the Won Ton soup as a starter just to compare to any other oriental restaurant I have had the pleasure of visiting. The soup had so much flavor for it being a broth I was impressed. As a treat I decided to order a Thai Iced Tea, phenomenal, very sweet but delicious nonetheless. For the main course I decided to go Thai and try one of their hottest dishes listed on their menu the Pad Prik Khing. It’s a combination of green beans, red and green bell peppers and your choice or chicken or steak tossed in a red chili paste that had hints of garlic and very strong spices. I couldn’t finish my meal due to the hardy serving size but took it to work the next day even better the next day. I highly recommend Joy Thai if you like Thai food or just looking to expand your palate.

Amazing food.. I have only had one problem there. While I was eating my soup there was a small piece of something in it and I told the waitress. She explained to me it was from the steamer, took the soup back, and got me a fresh bowl. Not only did she not charge me or the people who were with me for any of our soups, they also threw in free desert. Their Pad Thai is superb, and I could eat a large bowl of that coconut soup by myself. If you have not been here, stop in.
