Very oily, unimaginative 1980s food, and the service was terrible, bordering on offensive. One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Probably the best keep secret in York. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Prices are steep but that is what you get for quality food. It is cramped inside but very inviting. Love the Duck breast!

Ginger bread pancakes. Fall special. One word. WOW!!!

Good food but expensive for what you get. Left Bank does a brisk business with similar fare while Blue Moon is often nearly empty. I say don’t worry about the price or the neighborhood. You’re not going to get mugged, and you will get a table without calling ahead but call ahead anyway. Get the macaroni and cheese and dessert. They’re all good. We have never eaten here and failed to love our dinner. A great place to go for a special night out, especially in late September outdoors in back. Also if you like the food here you might want to try the Blue Heron on South Queen. The chef there is quite familiar to longtime Blue Moon aficionados.

Amazing food, worth the trip.. The food is incredibly fresh and delectable. I was very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is excellent the whole way through. The service, atmosphere and food quality are all top-notch. The seafood was amazing, especially considering how far the restaurant is from the ocean. Parking on the street is free after 5 and while the neighborhood itself leaves a little to be desired, you will think you are in the affluent parts of Baltimore or DC once you are inside.Do not miss a chance to eat here!!!!

LOCATION. Great food; not a great location. I wouldn’t go there in the evening. Too many people hanging out near the restaurant. They would get more customers outside of the city, or at least at a different location. As I said, the food is great, as well as, the people who run the restaurant.
