Tasty food at a reasonable price.. This evening, my hubby & I went to El Rodeo for the 1st time. We usually go to Fiesta Mexico in the East End, but wanted to try what we thought, was a different Mexican restaurant. Both restaurants basically offer the same menu items & complementary warm tortilla chips and salsa. Fiesta Mexico does give white sauce with their chips. IMO, there are a couple of differences. The El Rodeo menu is more organized & readable. Also, the decor theme is different, but the layout of seats are almost the same as F.M. I had the #26 combination dinner (hard taco, fried beef chimichanga w/guacamole salad, rice & beans) & my husband got the Especial de Mexico. My hubby LOVES meat, so the hefty portion of chopped steak, onions and sausage (w/A-1 piled on top) was right up his alley. The shredded beef in my chimichanga was kinda salty, but besides that, everything else was really delicious & very familiar (F.M.).Including a Long Island Ice Tea (no watered down alcholic drinks at both rest.) & a Virgin Mango Margarita, our bill came to right under $40.00. We liked El Rodeo, but our next visit depends on the flip of the coin. We can go either way & still have a enjoyable meal at a decent price.

Awesome Chile Releno. Good restaurant. Fast service, good prices.I had a plate with a enchilada, a taco, a chile releno, a tamale, and a bean chalupa. Also came with beans and rice. All of that food for $10. It was all good but the stand out was the Releno. VERY good meat stuffed chile releno. I would go back just for that.
LOVE this place!!! We eat here often and have never had a bad experience, neither food nor service. We’ve taken many of our out-of-town guests here and they all live it and can’t wait to cone back so we can go again. Excellent!!!
Good price, good food. Need I say more?
Great food. I travel to Emigsville a few times each year. We make sure to eat at El Rodeo.
