Pot roast quesadilla was great.
We walked in at 10:00pm and it was not busy an we were just waiting to get seated. The one waitress just stared at us. A couple minutes later she finally came over and seated us. Once we were seated we figured out our drink and food and still waited for our waitress. They seated other people in the meanwhile and then served them. We waited another ten minutes and were still waiting for someone to take our drink order. At this point all the waitresses were taking care of other things.. Counting money, cleaning, etc. however we were sitting in plain sight and still have not had our drink orders taken. So we got up and left. Never going back there again.
Great food, average to poor service. Gotta get your own coffee as waitstaff likes to talk. More interested in their conversation than serving.
Excellent service, good food. Had a wonderful time. Great service. Fabulous for breakfast any time. Heather is a fantastic server.
Excellent diner. I’ve come here three times so far and everything my party and I ordered has been great. A wide menu with options for anyone (those who want to get more expensive entrees and those who want smaller cheaper items). The waitstaff are amazing, ive become fast friends with all of them already. They are engaging, willing to actually chat and have fun, and are not afraid to recommend dishes over others that might be less satisfactory. My favorite diner I have ever been to. Plus, how can you beat 24 hour service?
I like it and eat there often.. Now, the Lyndon Diner is not what it aspires to be, which is a proper Pennsylvania diner. There are some things it does not do well. But it does breakfast like a champ.Love their house sausage, pancakes are big and fluffy, Lyndon Omelet is loaded with feta and is a special treat. French toast, bagels, eggs how you like them–at least when I go there, the cooks know how to do good scrambled eggs.I admit I don’t order the other parts of the menu; for me, Lyndon Diner is a great breakfast spot. So I can’t comment on entrees, burgers, desserts, etc.But we’ve liked their service, and if you want good breakfast any time, this is a good place for it.
Is salt the only spice used?. I have eaten at the Lyndon Diner several times. There are good and bad things about it. The good things are the salad, the vegetables and the bread basket. The salty foods are usually the soups, the filling and the entrees. There are greek items on the menu. The time that I tried them they did not have any flavor other than salt. Recently my dinner was inedible, but the vegetables, salad and bread were excellent as usual.
