Once and done. My family makes a point of patronizing local businesses when we attend First Friday events in York. Yesterday, we waited Over an hour for grey, over-cooked $9 burgers. Wait staff is more like a request staff… Request refills and request the check. We will never be back.

The beer is the draw at Mudhook. I suggest the coffee stout. The food is is very good as well. The menu has above selection of appetizers and burgers. I’d recommend Mudhook.

    Service was Excellent!

Food nicely presented, tasted ok. There were only 2 of us so our server gave priority to tables with more guests. Therefore it took a really long time to get our change after paying. Nice outdoor dining.

Great first experience at Mudhook!. We tried Mudhook Brewing Company for dinner on a recent Friday night. The food, beer, service and atmosphere were wonderful. We’ll definitely go back!

Nice little gem. So I have been here twice now, first time we just had the beer sampler and left. Went on First Friday for dinner. We were told to expect the wait to be about 30 minutes, but in reality, we waited maybe 10. The menu is pretty limited: 10 starters and 3 sandwiches. Get your choice of a hamburger, hot dog, or chicken. However, there are 13 versions of these sandwiches or you can build your own.For appetizer we choose the Hot Taco Dip – Layers of spicy ground beef, salsa, sour cream, cheddar cheese, & jalapenos baked to perfection & served with tortilla chips. It was pretty darn tasty! Yes the meat was spicy, but not overbearing at all.We sandwiches, both choose burgers: She had The Magoo – Mustard, Dill Pickle, Cheddar Cheese, and BBQ Chips (the chips are ON the burger) and I choose Chicago Style – Yellow mustard, Chopped Onions, Sweet Pickle Relish, Dill Pickle Spear, Sliced Tomato, & a Dash of Celery Salt. Since cheese is not an option on this burger I added Cheddar. These burgers are NOT the pre-made patties, but a really nice fat burger. Sadly though they were both over cooked. We both like our meat med rare and ordered that way. We got well done. Though my burger had some good tastes, it was extremely dry. She enjoyed her burger and it wasn’t as dry as mine was.As far as service goes, I have no complaints. They were really busy and she kept are drinks full. The kitchen was a little slow (doesn’t take long to cook a burger), but we chalked that up to being busy. These burgers combined with the starter was plenty of food and we left stuffed and satisfied. She enjoyed the Peach Wheat beer (Flavor of the Month) and I enjoyed the Deep Sea Stout.I’ll definitely be going back a third time
