  I have been a bartender for many years, I have worked at many restaurants in Baltimore… I have worked and managed many restaurants, which is how I put myself through school. I am currently attending York College pursuing a Masters Degree…I will say that the only days that I come in, is when Jaime is working..She has excellent interpersonal skills, and her customer service is outstanding. I am from MD,, and with my demanding studies I consider this my second home. No matter how bad or stressful day my day I am having she cheers me up and makes me smile…she puts people in front of money…which as an ex marketing executive is tantamount to the success of your success .Murphs’s ain’t nothing with out Jaime, BITCH…….

  Although the food is hit or miss, whenever longtime bartender Jaime is serving you nothing can go wrong. Her dedication to the customers is outstanding and she treats each with personalized service. I have not experienced a better bartender than Jaime. She got me through tough times in college and I am happy to call her one of my friends who I talk to today. I’m Looking forward to seeing her in my travels back to the area. She is the best.

  Great Times at Murphs. As a regular at Murphs Study Hall I always got great service. I would spend a lot of time at Murphs in the afternoons when it wasn’t very crowded. Bartender Jamie was always my girl. She would provide fantastic service and the upmost professional behavior at all times. The days I would go to Murphs I would make sure that Jamie was working because I know what I would be in store for. Jamie would make the environment fun and exciting with her glowing personality and immense care for her customers. During my time at York College, I have never seen any foul behavior or poor judgment by Jamie in any fashion. She is an excellent bartender, wonderful server and a terrific friend and Im looking forward to seeing her next time Im hanging out at Murphs.

  Good Service. I would also like to comment on the review about the bartender at Murph’s. I have been to the bar and have had Jamie wait on me. She has always been pleasant and courteous to me. I hope if she sees that review she doesn’t let it get her down. I can only think the person who wrote it must have been having a bad day and took it out on her.

  Happy Customer. This is to the gutless person who called Jamie a old lady and a female dog. I have know her for years. I was always treated with respect and good service. You must have a serious problem if you need to belittle someone who is trying to do there job. If the real reason you did this was because you were too cheap to leave a tip. Do us all a favor stay out of the establishment.

  #1 College Bar In York County. Located 3 houses beside York College is Yorks #1 college bar. Very low prices, Quality food, best wings in york (try the honey BBQ ones), Due to the college crowd this bar gets busy late. Kids party at their places then at midnight attack Murphs. Hard to believe but the bar can be empty at 11pm and waiting line to get in outside at midnight. Back bar opens at 10pm with the dj playing the latest music with very little rap. One of the very few clubs in york that you can get away from gangsta rap.The Young crowd keeps the place fun and happening.Bouncers check all ID’s which gets to be a pain in the butt but you get used to it.I sure think its the best bar in york but thats my vote 🙂
